Charlotte, NC: The founders of Charlotte-based recruiting, staffing and consulting firm, Sherpa, have announced that senior leader, Lisa Hildreth, was named a partner in the business in January.
Hildreth launched her recruiting career 30 years ago and joined Sherpa in 2010 to lead the Accounting & Financial Staffing division. After building a successful team, Hildreth was promoted to Sherpa’s senior leadership team and led the launch of new divisions including Human Resources (2012), Marketing (2018) and Executive Support (2018).
At Sherpa, Hildreth has taken an active role in developing a culture that encourages individual growth and development. According to Melissa McGuire, “Lisa is a relationship builder and leader. She cares about employees and inspires them to achieve their best as both recruiters and people. She is a role model and culture champion.”

Lisa will assist co-founders, Joe Hanel, Melissa McGuire and Barry Pronier, in leading Sherpa’s strategic vision and positioning it for the future. She’ll help direct Sherpa’s Accounting and Finance, Project Management, Human Resources, Marketing and Executive Support teams. Her staffing industry skill and expert market knowledge will enhance Sherpa’s abilities to hire, retain and develop recruiting and executive search professionals.
