Sherpa’s Keith Neus Moderates Panel at Inaugural Winter Intern CLT

Sherpa is proud to have participated in the first-ever Winter Intern CLT, an initiative by the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance that fosters young talent and strengthens the region’s workforce pipeline. During the February 10 event, our Managing Director, Keith Neus, played a key role in February 10th event, moderating a panel on effective networking strategies for the 30 interns participating in the program.

Winter Intern CLT Connects Charlotte’s Future Workforce

Winter Intern CLT provides interns with a unique opportunity to serve as ambassadors for their companies, build valuable connections, and gain insights from experienced professionals. First, the program kicked off with an engaging “Get to Know Charlotte” quiz led by Tim Miner of Charlotte Is Creative. Next, attendees participated in a dynamic Q&A session with Chris Moxley, owner of 704 Shop. There, he shared why he loves Charlotte and what makes the city special.

Networking and Career Advice from Industry Leaders

Afterward, Keith Neus moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring Jamie Cannon, Justin Constantine, and Jordan Greene, recruiting specialists from Duke Energy Corporation. Together, they discussed what employers look for in entry-level candidates. They also shared common resume mistakes to avoid. Finally, they explained how candidates can evaluate whether a company’s culture aligns with their career goals.

“As a company that connects great talent with great opportunities, Sherpa is committed to developing the workforce of the future and strengthening our local community,” said Keith Neus, Managing Director at Sherpa. “Additionally, events like Winter Intern CLT are essential in helping young professionals build the skills, connections, and confidence they need to succeed. Because of that, we’re proud to support this mission.”

Supporting Charlotte’s Next Generation of Talent

Winter Intern CLT reflects the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent. Deloitte, Duke Energy Corporation, GreerWalker CPAs and Advisors and host Grant Thornton made the event possible through their sponsorship and support.
