At Sherpa, we believe in the power of teamwork – not just in business, but in giving back to the Charlotte community. That’s why our team recently spent a rewarding morning on January 29th volunteering at Nourish Up, an incredible organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity by providing groceries to our neighbors in need in Mecklenburg County and beyond through the largest network of food pantries in North Carolina, grocery home delivery, and delivering healthy meals each weekday through their Meals on Wheels program.
Nourish Up Addresses a Critical Need
Food insecurity is a harsh reality for many families in our community. Access to nutritious meals isn’t a given for everyone, and organizations like Nourish Up work tirelessly to provide essential food resources to those in need. The impact of hunger is far-reaching, affecting health, well-being, and even job stability. Supporting efforts to combat this issue is something we’re passionate about at Sherpa, and we were honored to play a small part in the solution.
A Morning Well Spent
Together, our Sherpa team packed 546 boxes. Each box contained enough food to nourish one person for an entire week. The work at Nourish Up was fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply fulfilling. It was a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose.
Join the Cause
We are so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important cause, and we encourage others to do the same. If you’d like to make a direct impact in Charlotte, consider volunteering at Nourish Up. We coordinated our efforts through their Volunteer Program Assistant, Emilee Pope. Whether you pack food boxes, distribute meals, or support their mission in another way, every effort makes a difference.

Thank you to Nourish Up for the meaningful work you do every day. And to our Sherpa team—thank you for stepping up to serve. Together, we reinforced something we already knew: when we work together, we can move mountains.
